Hmmm...what have I been doing?

Well yesterday was Sunday so that was a day off. Today I finished the roof of the goat shed and put up the guttering. Then I painted it black. Then I painted the wall and the window black. The I filled the trailer with soil and started to construct the border-which-will-be-a-hedge by the front of the house.
None of which seemed worth taking a photo of. Sorry.

Turning ......

Turning yesterday's logs into round blanks.


and turning a brown oak blank into a bowl. Yippee. I still know how to do it.

Chainsawing wood for turning and firewood. Spalted birch with lots of burrs for turning and oak for the fire.

and lo, a star shone over the goat shed.

Not a star really more of an electric light. But the point is there is power out there now.

Another hard day.....

We have all been working very hard although there are no photos of Bella working.

 A new use for the chicken run. But we let him out later .....

Time off for good behaviour.

We went in to the village this morning so Noah could see all the horses and hounds gathering at the pub for a ride across the hills.







Noah was more interested in paddling in the famous Cilycwm gutters.

The family all worked together today - I was working but I stopped to take the photo, honest.

Bella complained that you couldn't see all her hard work painting the bitumen on the roof, so she went up to take a picture of it.
