Decorating.

Painting in the conservatory - or 'goldfish bowl' as Kate is calling it because passers-by are peering in at us.

Companion planting.

I planted marigolds so that the tomatoes would have someone to talk to but the marigolds are growing faster than the tomatoes!

First meal.

Even though it is not decorated or carpeted we couldn't resist moving the table out and eating our first meal in the new conservatory. (takeaway indian!)

A visitor.

Moving furniture out of the garage for the conservatory revealed this little guy hiding in a plastic box.

Progress on the seat.

The bench is an exercise in re-cycling. The back is our old bed-head, the base uses the pine from the old conservatory ceiling and the seat is from the old fireplace.

Working in the conservatory.

New boot and shoe cupboard/seat.

New plants.

Three gunnera to put in the various boggy places.

A new super food.

The raddishes that I left to flower have now produced small pods - they are very tasty.

A bumper crop of cherries this year.

Six cherries!! More than last year - zero!

A day off for us.....

We went to the National Botanical Garden but Neil had to work - bailing the hay on the hay field. Sixty bails apparently.
