Another cold night ahead.

The ground is still solid so I am in the workshop. Finishing the doors, building the partition that will separate the woodturning end and putting up shelves. Just keeping busy till the thaw.

The weather continues cold.

But no more snow. The ground is frozen so no outside work is getting done. I
have been doing IT for Kate - she has switched from the slow PC to the iMac
- so I have been setting it up and transferring all her data.

A kite came to feed on the chicken bones by the bird table.

I had to run for the camera!

A day off so time for a walk.

This is along the River Towy just down from the cottage.

Looks like a cold night ahead.

This is what I have been doing in the garage.

We are making a separate section for the car. This will stop it getting
covered in bird pooh from the swallows in summer and stop it getting covered
in dust from woodworking/woodturning.
PS. Remind me next time that putting up 8' by 4' sheets of 1/2" plasterboard
on the ceiling is not a job for an old man. Which I am. Nearly.

nearly done.

This is how one man puts up a plasterboard ceiling.

Nearly done.

and no that is not posh coving... it is the cardboard edging that protected
the posh worktops.... it just looks like coving.

All quiet on the Western front.

Hello. Not much happening at the moment so no new photos. It is definitely warmer today - 1degree rather than 11 below. But no melting snow - just milder. The ground is still frozen so not much to do outside but I am working in the garage - building the partition walls, not very exciting hence no pictures. I will take some when it is finished.
