Good Morning from Wales. God's Country.

We have finally found a home for the geese!

Not the oven (sadly) but a local man who has seventy five acres up on the hill and loves geese. He has five already and has always wanted a brown goose. So we caught them and they were delivered this morning. We are planning on more chickens and some ducks now.

Look ..... No tank!! And soon no concrete blocks either!

Clearing up at the cottage also means taking some plants from the garden there for the garden here.

And then planting them in the border by the house.

This is the mallard and four chicks that have taken to visiting our pond.

 

Our friends from Rodborough Avenue are here for the weekend. We took them on our favourite walk - the RSPB Dinas reserve.
