I have discovered that I can edit the time of posts so when I post more than one image I can edit them into more of a storyline. In future I must remember to post the last post first...

I was supposed to spend the day doing the worktops in the kitchen and they did get done eventually but the sun shone so......

I planted some water plants in the duck pond to see if they survived

I went and looked at our daisy patch

I strimmed a square to see where the poly tunnel might go

I strimmed the old vegetable patch and discovered the remains of raised beds. Lost garden of dolittle!!

And now I am just sat watching the sun go down.

The end of another day (good grief we have only been here two weeks).

Today's gardening was strimming the area around the chicken shed so we can think about getting it back in use. At the moment the chickens are roosting in the goat shed.

The kitchen is coming on but every time the sun shines I go outside and do some 'gardening'

Feeding time at Dolittle. Even on Kate's birthday and in the rain the flock must be fed.

The kitchen has gone. It is food cooked on the camping stove for a while.

This is the view from the conservatory where we sit and stare. And we
rejoice in the fact that we live here. The move went very well - there
is a lot of stuff in the garage but it is a big garage. We are cutting
down trees, mowing grass and fitting a new kitchen. And Kate has the
first vegetables planted in the greenhouse. Smallholding has started.
