The visitors...

...have gone now so back to planting things.

Lupins update.

The lupins are coming on fine - the ones in the pig field are the furthest on....

Laying down a line for another flowerbed. This is below the cob, in front of the tank air vent.

More work on the layout. This is the baseboard for the engine shed - all done with tea leaves and sawdust!

And then down to the Llandovery layout.

We now have a website....

Neville's sheep ate my broom!

The sheep seem to like a twig of broom every now and then which is not helping their growth so I have added extra netting between the broom and the sheep. That should slow them down.

With luck they will all look like this.

The vertical bars on Noah's bridge have all dried up and rotted helped along by people who can't steer straight ( I'm looking at you, Mr Robertson ).  So I have taken them all off and replaced it with sheep netting - wouldn't want grandchildren falling through the gap.

Working in the polytunnel to keep dry!

Sweet peas

Modifications. The original beds meant that a lot of the soil was walked on so only ever grew weeds. I have made narrow beds now....

Back in the garden, off and on.

An odd day weather wise.

And then absolute downpours.

But enough time to notice the Hawthorn blossom

And to dig the last of the leeks. Not all prize winners.

A pleasant walk.

I walked up to Daffyd Penffedw to help his daughter set up a website. Lovely sunny morning with wild flowers everywhere.

And we seem to have oak before the ash so maybe it will be dry for a while.

Not bad for the middle of nowhere.

A wet day so more computer work and model building.

And down to the Llandovery layout with Roger.

A day out. Whooo Whooo!

We knew about the Gwili Railway but had never got around to visiting. As the sun was shining we decided to go.

A proper train. (Apart from the Happy Birthday!)
It is quite a short track but they go slowly so it lasts longer.
Here are some more pictures.

Now LRT starts and stops!

Sometime ago I fixed the starting on LRT and now I have fixed the brakes - Immie will be pleased.

We have acquired a trailer - someone in the village was selling it and I often have a use for one.

If you buy one packet of seed this year make it Limnanthes - the poached egg plant. I bought a packet four years ago and now they seed themselves all over. They are annuals but just keep going.

Other flowers are doing well too...
