A walk in Cwm Rhaeder this morning and Aberglasny this afternoon.

Time off for good behaviour.

Steve and Sally ( our neighbours from Rodborough ) are here for the weekend so no work for a few days. Then Fran and Geoff are here for a few days. Then Helen and the grandchildren. Then Roger and Judith. Busy busy.

Somebody, who shall be nameless, pointed out that the last sunset had been taken from inside the conservatory and had some reflections in it. So here is another sunset enhanced (?) by pseudo HDR taken outside. Is this better Peter? (oops. what a giveaway!)

What we've been busy doing.

Not much has been blogged lately as not much has been done. We have been driving about looking at second-user motorhomes. We have now found one and it will be with us early august. So back to work till then.

Noah's here.

And Bella too. So lots will get done soon.

Painting in the conservatory - or 'goldfish bowl' as Kate is calling it because passers-by are peering in at us.

I planted marigolds so that the tomatoes would have someone to talk to but the marigolds are growing faster than the tomatoes!

First meal.

Even though it is not decorated or carpeted we couldn't resist moving the table out and eating our first meal in the new conservatory. (takeaway indian!)

A visitor.

Moving furniture out of the garage for the conservatory revealed this little guy hiding in a plastic box.

Progress on the seat.

The bench is an exercise in re-cycling. The back is our old bed-head, the base uses the pine from the old conservatory ceiling and the seat is from the old fireplace.

The raddishes that I left to flower have now produced small pods - they are very tasty.

Sunflower update.

Bella gave us some sunflower seeds. The first one has just started flowering.

The builder has just a few more jobs to do so we have started cleaning up and decorating.
