Time off for good behaviour.
Steve and Sally ( our neighbours from Rodborough ) are here for the weekend so no work for a few days. Then Fran and Geoff are here for a few days. Then Helen and the grandchildren. Then Roger and Judith. Busy busy.

Steps and ramp
From the drive down to the front door. The ramp is for wheelbarrows full of logs. And pushchairs. And wheelchairs when I get older.

What we've been busy doing.
Not much has been blogged lately as not much has been done. We have been driving about looking at second-user motorhomes. We have now found one and it will be with us early august. So back to work till then.
Busy busy busy.
Quietly getting on with 'things' - more details to follow. Very much looking forward to grandson Noah's visit and he's bringing Bella too.

A comma settled in the greenhouse.
Several second sets of swallow babies - these are in the goat shed.

Decorating.
Painting in the conservatory - or 'goldfish bowl' as Kate is calling it because passers-by are peering in at us.
Companion planting.
I planted marigolds so that the tomatoes would have someone to talk to but the marigolds are growing faster than the tomatoes!

First meal.
Even though it is not decorated or carpeted we couldn't resist moving the table out and eating our first meal in the new conservatory. (takeaway indian!)
A visitor.
Moving furniture out of the garage for the conservatory revealed this little guy hiding in a plastic box.

Progress on the seat.
The bench is an exercise in re-cycling. The back is our old bed-head, the base uses the pine from the old conservatory ceiling and the seat is from the old fireplace.

A new super food.
The raddishes that I left to flower have now produced small pods - they are very tasty.

The builder has just a few more jobs to do so we have started cleaning up and decorating.
